It's a great day for hockey!!
NHL Season opens tonight! 
Been looking forward to it since the incredible Stanley Cup Playoffs last spring.
(doesn't hurt that I'm a Blackhawks fan)

I think the finals took a lot out of the Bruins and this won't be their year. 
... than player introductions & the first faceoff for the first home game of the season.

Caps really should have won the game ... the Hawks looked like they had bus legs in P2 and the Caps' power play was incredible throughout.
If that game is any indication, this is going to be an AMAZING season to be a hockey fan !!
The one good thing about it, I guess, is that they still have to pack the full amount of games into the season so we get mo' hockey mo' often 
I just hope we don't have mo' injuries to go with it.
