Most basketball games early in the season are nothing more than exhibition games for the major conference teams. Ironically, the money the mid-majors get for this really helps their sports department budget, even though they get their asses handed to themselves.

BTW, wonder when "someone" will try to hijack this thread with a comment about the Dolphins.
