(29,977 posts)Baseball is like flipping a coin and gambling - whatever short term results, probability will show in the long run. They play so many games that a lot of teams began the year w/ cold snaps and will get hot towards the end of the season while a lot of other teams that are in the upper half will end the year w/ a cold snap. Usually talent wins out which is why teams like Detroit, San Francisco, Oakland, Washington, and St. Louis. Angels also hang around as does Dallas.
