I don't know if he is a Hall of Fame voter but this is the sport that has George Will for a sports writer. Not only that, the athletes -- Nolan Ryan.

Schilling was almost 200 hundreds of votes away. It hurt his chances much in the same way that the Jacksonville Jaguars chances of winning the Superbowl were hurt when their backup punter didn't eat a healthy breakfast one day during training camp.
