As a NY Yankees fan, I truly enjoy watching the Patriots be hated by the nation

I too think that deflategate is b.s., but I do love seeing NE fans dropping down a peg on their sanctimony. No longer can they claim some sort of moral high ground in sports.

Now, they're just like the Yankees. Win at all costs, morality be damned.

Welcome to being hated Pats fans!

Fair enough. As a New England fan, I think many of the locals here try to claim a moral high ground hughee99 Jan 2015 #2

that isn't deserved. Many teams (in all sports) do things in the "gray area" of the rules, some go too far and some get caught. When you get caught, you can't complain about it... MAYBE you can complain just a little if you think the punishment is too harsh. One person suggested the NFL force the sale and relocation of the Patriots to LA. While I think the Pats deserve a punishment regardless of who knew what about the ball inflation (the NFL shouldn't even need to prove who did what to impose any fine), I don't think I'm out of line for saying "the Los Angeles Patriots" is overly harsh for a ball inflation violation.

Enjoy this while you can, once the SB ends, the sports media circus will be moving on to Yankee training camp to await the arrival of a certain you-know-who.

On Edit: Sorry, I just saw a tweet that the Aaron Hernandez trial will begin Thursday, so that may buy the Yankees a few more days before the circus comes to town.
