Kraft expects apology from NFL if no tampering found

CHANDLER, Ariz. -- Patriots owner Robert Kraft doubled down on the organization's stance that they did nothing wrong before the AFC title game win over the Colts.

In fact, he added that the NFL should apologize to the Patriots, especially Bill Belichick and Tom Brady, upon completion of Ted Wells' investigation into the matter if the NFL can't find any wrongdoing.

"If the Wells investigation is not able to definitely determine that our organization tampered with the air pressure in the footballs, I would expect and hope the league would apologize to our entire team and in particular coach Belichick and Tom Brady for what they have had to endure the last week. I am disappointed in the way the entire matter has been handled and reported upon," Kraft said.

Tom's 55-minute phone call with the equipment assistant? Brady's invitation to Jastremski to the quarterback room? “You good Jonny boy?” C'mon now!

Brady refused to provide any texts regarding the issue. Do you have anything else other than snark and deflection?
