Cheaters like Brady should have no place in honest competition.

It's really hard to claim innocence after destroying evidence.

since the only two other people (the two "ball boys&quot turned over their cellphones with all the Brady correspondence in there. Is there a third person involved in deflating the balls that they were expecting to see texts from Brady to? That doesn't seem to be even hinted at anywhere in the Wells report.

By the way, if I were Brady, as a prominent member of the players union and a celebrity, I wouldn't have turned over my phone either (though I probably wouldn't have destroyed it). Not only does it set a bad precedent for the other players, but when that douchebag Richie Incognito turned over his phone, a whole bunch of his texts that were not relevant to the investigation ended up in the press anyway. Hell, even when Robert Mueller investigated the NFL for it's handling of Ray Rice, the league execs only turned over their company phones, not their private ones.

In the opinion informing Brady that his appeal had been denied, Commissioner Goodell emphasized important new information disclosed by Brady and his representatives in connection with the hearing.

On or shortly before March 6, the day that Tom Brady met with independent investigator Ted Wells and his colleagues, Brady directed that the cell phone he had used for the prior four months be destroyed. He did so even though he was aware that the investigators had requested access to text messages and other electronic information that had been stored on that phone. During the four months that the cell phone was in use, Brady had exchanged nearly 10,000 text messages, none of which can now be retrieved from that device. The destruction of the cell phone was not disclosed until June 18, almost four months after the investigators had first sought electronic information from Brady.

Based on the Wells Report and the evidence presented at the hearing, Commissioner Goodell concluded in his decision that Brady was aware of, and took steps to support, the actions of other team employees to deflate game footballs below the levels called for by the NFL's Official Playing Rules. The commissioner found that Brady’s deliberate destruction of potentially relevant evidence went beyond a mere failure to cooperate in the investigation and supported a finding that he had sought to hide evidence of his own participation in the underlying scheme to alter the footballs.

Thought your boss and your boss' boss were going to protect you, and that your fame, fortune, professional stats, and being white would serve as your secondary line? Well, now you're just another member of sports' great unwashed, along with all the other baby daddies, lady punchers, gay baiters, steroid takers, and hit-and-runners...down the sewer with the rest of the trash!

FOXBORO, Mass. -- Robert Kraft lit into NFL commissioner Roger Goodell in a surprise appearance at Gillette Stadium on Wednesday.
