(65,690 posts)it was just the NFL championship. Starr had five NFL Championships prior to the Superb Owl.

And that would place him at 6 total and no chance at 7, like Peyton does.

(14,884 posts)I was going to troll this group with loads of Superb Owl footage, but then Sheffield Wednesday lost to Shrewsbury Town in the FA cup.

(76,131 posts)I'd still take Montana, Elway, Brady, and maybe even Young. In fact, i'd take Marino ahead of Manning if he was playing on a team with a defense and a running game, which he only had one year.
Also, i think these numbers don't measure cool in a crisis. The first 3 guys i mentioned didn't tighten up in the clutch. Manning's overall playoff record is not as impressive as those of the other guys. (Well, maybe i'm overrating Elway a bit since his teams got killed in a couple SB's.)

(20,429 posts)He broke Faver's TD and games won records. He's also the richest.

(35,980 posts)Joe Montana's superbowl wins. He was a fantastic QB - I'll admit even better than Favre or Starr.
