Explain this, Cleveland and Toronto played last night and will play again Saturday...

Golden State and OKC played Thursday but don't play again until Sunday. Professional basketball schedules don't even make sense during the regular season the way football and baseball do.

Do they do this every year?

Cleveland won all four.

The night more tv sets are turned on than any other night...although one would think Cleveland-Toronto could be at night.

Saturdays game is on ESPN and the Sunday game is on TNT. ESPN is committed to baseball on Sunday night which is probably why the Cavs/Raptors game is Saturday. I'd think conference playoff games constitute Event TV, meaning many fans would change their plans to watch.

Fridays are just one of those nights that get lower ratings

Saturdays are low, too, but Saturdays have been NBA Saturdays for the whole season now

I'm surprised they aren't putting it on ABC instead of ESPN

...the league wants Toronto out of there as quickly as possible. No 'free throws' in the 4th quarter???

Is there any sport in the USA untouched by corruption?
