Two horses die at a Triple Crown venue in front of Worldwide media and bring attention to the cruelty of horse racing, just another nail in the coffin of a dying sport.
Horse racing will soon go the way of dog fighting, cock fighting, dog racing, circus elephants, killer whale 'shows' and countless other forms of barbarity imposed on defenseless animals for human entertainment.
Just to head off the flames from the animal abuse fans here I spent some time on the backstretch at Turf Paradise this winter where the cruelty of low level horse racing is on display, the people in the barns are blind to the pain they inflict on the poor horses, they actually think they are helping them. Horse racing is disgusting and fans of horse racing are no different than people betting on the outcome of a cockfight.
Go to any track or OTB parlor and you will see the sad alcoholic tobacco addicted dregs of society revel in cruelty while they poison themselves. Less than .001% of residents of the USA actually visit a track or bet on horse racing while the horse owners, the 1% of society, collect state tax subsidies and use the loss on the horses for a tax write off.
A sport where the owners are uncaring money hungry animal abusers and the fans are degenerate gamblers fortunately has zero future in our more enlightened society, it cannot end soon enough for the victims, the horses.
