World Affairs Council to honor Nowitzki for his commitment to kids around the globe
Dallas Mavericks star Dirk Nowitzki will receive the H. Neil Mallon Award from the World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth on Sept. 22 at the Hilton Anatole.
The award celebrates Nowitzki's drive to improve kids' lives around the world through his namesake foundation and his involvement with Children's Medical Center Dallas.
