And entered this year's AO Open with NO match-play and very little prep. Last year, she was prepared going into it. She had some solid play under her belt and she was prepared (She made it to the finals last year vs Serena).

So I'm NOT shocked by her early exit from this year's AO Open

You see Serena didn't even try it. GREAT decision on her part.
