1. I just watched Federer.

If you would tell me how the coverage was for you? For some reason on my TV I could not change the contrast or brightness to make a difference. Every other court is fine but center court is yellow striped with yellower. I could not see the ball and that made a relatively boring match almost unwatchable.

2. I thought mine was ok.......but to tell ya the truth, I don't remember the stripes

mowed into the grass.......is that new?? Don’t remember seeing stripes before.

not like this. I think it would be weird to play on that. Perhaps it isn't seen so much from the court. Odd about my TV, if it is that way on only one channel I think that is odd. Oh well, it will not make me happy to watch this first week without being able to see the ball on center court. Thankfully there is a lot more happening than center court!

Too bad about Sloane. It has been a pretty long draught for US tennis. EDIT to add, except for Serena of course. How could I forget Serena?

Halep just got knocked off by an unrated S W Hsieh from Chinese Taipei. Simona was completely befuddled by her......shots were presision and Simona was just out of her element today. Wow....... Su Wei is 32 years old.

7. and men's quarters......Federer vs Anderson......

OMGOSH...... Roger should have won in the third set.....now in 5th set and it’s 9 - 9 yikes. It feels like it could go on for awhile. How much longer can Roger hold up....how fit is he?? Four hours on court.

13 - 11 the final.....and Roger finally lost.

and in a boys' semifinal, it's 17 games all in the final set - Draper (British) v. Mejia.

Nadal-Djokovic hasn't even started, and it's 7:30 ...

Nadal, and what’s his name, can’t spell it, Joker or something......until thy’re Finished. Ugh......why can’t the men play on court one why push the women’s final back?? Ugh......just move the men.
