Watching pre season football......

and I have really started to not like what i’m watching...... horrible hits, slow mo hit shots, over and over hit shots.......is it wrong of me to want NFL flag football???

4. The last few years I've been drifting away from it.

More than anything it's being more aware of the advertising/corporate/macho bullshit/sports culture plus time suck that's been driving me off. I still use it as a blame free excuse to drink beer while doing nothing but I'm slowly learning that "reward" beers often taste better.

7. If you don't like NFL football, don't watch it.

How do you benefit from denying the game to those who choose to play it, and those who enjoy watching it? Is this, or is this not a free country? Or can we only do those things which some "enlightened" group has decided are beneficial to us?

I don't go around spouting about how awful soccer is, and how we should not waste money building stadiums for it, and so forth. I don't enjoy the game, so I don't watch it. I am entirely happy with it being available for people to play who enjoy playing it, and for people to watch who enjoy watching it.
