(6,094 posts)3 players between plays. Each player would have to be able to play more than one position. Less 300# linemen. Less injuries. Holding shouldn't be called if it occurs well away from the play. Don't ask me about my ideas for basketball.

(29,979 posts)1972 Dolphins had 2 1,000 yard rushers plus a heck of a receiver in Paul Warfield but looking at the scores they look pretty normal. A 24-23 game against the Bills.
They added a lot more pass happy rules since then that nowadays pro football looks unnatural.
