Too much scoring in College footbal and the NFL

rules are too tilted to offense. It is out of whack.

1. Also no huddle equals more plays/game, more passes which stop the game clock.

Less 3 yards and a cloud of dust.

2. Get rid of unlimited substitution.

3 players between plays. Each player would have to be able to play more than one position. Less 300# linemen. Less injuries. Holding shouldn't be called if it occurs well away from the play. Don't ask me about my ideas for basketball.

10. The games were boring.

The teams marched up and down the field, rarely scoring. Trust me, they were dull.

11. I like run blocking and running

1972 Dolphins had 2 1,000 yard rushers plus a heck of a receiver in Paul Warfield but looking at the scores they look pretty normal. A 24-23 game against the Bills.

They added a lot more pass happy rules since then that nowadays pro football looks unnatural.

sounds like either two teams playing in horrendous weather conditions, or just straight up inept offense.

12. Neither the NCAA or NFL would admit it, but I suspect, just like MLB,

they love high-scoring contests and are working on rules changes to encourage more of them.

Guarantee that Monday night K.C./L.A. game created legendary water cooler buzz Tuesday morning. What business wouldn't welcome that?
