They should have banned Hollendorfer a long time ago!
They know he was drugging the horses and racing them.
Now with 4 deaths (at least) on his hands, Santa Anita finally decides to shut the barn door on him.
Too little too late IMO! 
Stop inbreeding the damned horses!
I believe that 80% of the horses that ran in the Kentucky Derby this year were all descended out of Secretariat.

They need fresh blood. These old lines have been inbred from here to hell and back.
You end up with thin boned horses!

His heart was twice the size that it should have been.
And his genes are passing down as you know.
This inbreeding thing is a huge issue for me.
I had a thoroughbred dog (inherited) and oh what a mess that breed is. They look nice but oh my!

I am not against it if it is done properly and the way it was meant to be done, with great care and compassion one would hope as horses love to run.
So many like this guy that has been ousted at last deserve much worse for their crimes! They belong in JAIL for animal cruelty at the very least. Puppy mills and the like - same thoughts.
Huge topic that touches on so many issues.
