(4,069 posts)I met your Coach last summer. His sister lives in Lexington. Real nice guy. Actually did me a huge favor.
Regardless,
I hope we play this season, bring it on.

(72,790 posts)Should be a good one. I do think that Kentucky and UNC are the teams to beat, but the CUSE should be right in the mix. We'll see.

(56,177 posts)An even BIGGER margin of victory for ND!
Actually, I'll just be happy if they make the final...they never have...3 years straight in the semis now.

(56,177 posts)Not a good half for Syracuse...this is why the Big East tournament is the best...anything can happen!

(72,790 posts)Not really looking forward to going to the ACC because I love the BE so much.
Cinncy came out on fire. They cooled towards the end of the half. Hopefully they don't warm up again or it's going to be bye-bye Cuse.

(115,279 posts)Both physical and athletic. Some teams in the SEC conference are trying to emulate the Big East style of play.

(56,177 posts)Nope, not physically possible.
That said, you're right, everyone's talking about Payless when there's a lot of great games going on.

(61,696 posts)If Duke wins tonight, 3 of the 4 teams playing tomorrow live within a few miles of each other! Happy to see State winning - they may get into the dance

(115,279 posts)The Wildcats beat them earlier this season on the Cats home court when Davis blocked a shot at the end of the game. Both teams have improved since then. Besides the Wildcats, Kentucky also has Western Kentucky, Louisville, and Murray State in the Big Dance. Murray State and Kentucky are the only two teams left with just one loss, after 'Cuse bit the dust last night.

(29,883 posts)attempted and made by Florida the entire game.
ESPN STFC had a prop, which will be higher? Kentucky winning margin or tie or Florida free throws made. I thought Florida free throws made would make an easy pick, they'll get around 10 right? They average 13 made a game. Kentucky wins by 3, Florida 2 free throws. Unreal.

(29,582 posts)Kentucky's the only school in the country where not winning a National Title in the first few years is grounds for dismissal.
At a 'normal' school, anyone with Cal's record after three years would be given a lifetime contract.
Instead, they'll be calling for his head if they lose again this year.
Just making an observation, not a judgment.

Vandy played tough. Good win for them.
We'll give him a couple of more years. I much don't give a fuck if we ever win another. I just like the smell of burning couches around campus.

(4,069 posts)While Goose had a 12 footer he could make all day he is not the word on Kentucky Basketball. I think he is still living in Florida. I, on the other hand, work 3 blocks from Wildcat Lodge.
Last word in paragraph.
Kevin Grevey: "If this was Duke getting four or five one-and-dones every year, or North Carolina or Indiana or UCLA, I don't think anybody would say much about it," says former Kentucky star Kevin Grevey. "But for some reason, it's (an issue with) Kentucky and John Calipari. What is he, the Darth Vader of college basketball? I've never seen so much jealousy."
