The city of Atlanta has welcomed me with open arms, said Young. Giving back to this community is extremely important to me. I hope these families can find a bit of relief knowing that their bills have been taken care of as we enter the New Year.
Young has been a bright spot on the court for Atlanta as well. Averaging 28.9 points, 4.3 rebounds and 8.4 assists per game on 44.8% shooting from the floor and 37.5% from behind the arc, Young is definitely a cornerstone of the franchise in Atlanta.
Dude is just a class act and only 21 years old. In addition, Young and Houston star James Harden set an NBA record tonight with each posting a triple double while scoring 40 plus points.

He is one cool cat!
Geez, he's on a rookie contract. A million is a big chunk of what he'll make in first 4 years.
Fun player to watch, and heart in right place.
Excellent!

(7,964 posts)2. Good point about the contract
$1M to him is more than it would be to someone like durant, although Durant gets props for giving $1M to the people of OKC who were affected by the 2013 tornado.

I meant my post to be no knock on any athlete donating to charity, based on proportion.
Just amplifying how great I thought Trey was doing this!
