Running back Marshawn Lynch told ESPN that his agent, Doug Hendrickson, has been in touch with the Seattle Seahawks about making another return to the team in 2020.
As far as right now, What I do know -- imma keep it solid -- my agent has been in talks with Seattle, Lynch told ESPNs Scott Van Pelt late Monday night. Well see what happens. If it works out, and I get back up there, it is what it is. If not, s**t. Im livin good. I aint really trippin too much.
Lynch, who turned 34 last month, is currently an unrestricted free agent. He un-retired at the end of last season to return to the Seahawks, who grew desperate for backfield help after season-ending injuries to running backs Chris Carson and Rashaad Penny. In three games with Seattle -- the regular-season finale and both playoff games -- Lynch rushed a combined 30 times for 67 yards and four touchdowns.
Lynchs return to the Seahawks last December, a couple days before Christmas, gave Seattle a huge emotional boost right before the postseason. It was somewhat magical. His touchdown in the regular-season finale in Seattle against the 49ers, his first game back, was a leaping effort over the linemen to get into the end zone -- a play that drew one of the loudest cheers of the year.

I know he's a big dude, but he looks like he'd need to shed 50# to be even close to what he was.
He wasn't that fast when he was a star. Carrying an extra 50# isn't going to make him faster.
