New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said he is now encouraging major sports teams in the state to plan on reopening without fans.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom later said sports could resume without fans in his state as soon as the "first week or so of June."

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott said professional sports without fans could resume there at the end of May. In addition, he said Little League baseball can resume play with parents watching under social distancing guidelines.

I still think it's a bad idea. According to worldometers, there were 1,416 new cases of coronavirus reported in New York state today, 1,327 in California and 913 in Texas. In the entire US, new cases numbered just under 22,000. THAT IS ONE DAY!
