Slim Pickens said it to someone. I don't know why the writers chose KC.

So it's not known what the context was.
I'm guessing that he was finishing the sentence as he clicked on his microphone to begin broadcasting, and did it about 1.5 seconds too soon. That's all it takes to say.
There's an MLB team in San Francisco, of course. The Giants aren't doing very well, and there's been recent speculation about which players might be on the 'for sale' list before the approaching trade deadline. It wouldn't be surprising for them to be talking about the team, but that's just a guess.
