I'm trying to watch the Sugar Bowl and am all in on Ohio State because I just really want to see Clemson lose.

There isn't one thing I can point to as to why I can't stand the guy. His fake piety is obviously part of it, but if that was all of it I probably wouldn't be able to watch any college football. He's basically straight out of central casting as a MAGA guy, but again that would probably capture most coaches today. The dude just screams phony.

In my opinion Nick Saban takes the title for most despised and arrogant coaches of all tine. Still, we can't ignore what both of these coaches have done. They've fielded the best teams consistently year after year. That's probably why everyone hates them. They'll both on top of the heap until someone beats them. LSU beat them both last year, but where is LSU this year! Nowhere.
Saban and Swinney have the most consistently championship caliber teams year after year.

13. Hell, I haven't watched ANY of the college games.

1) The "Rose Bowl" being played anyplace other than Pasadena stinks.

2) The colleges got greedy for the broadcast $$$$. They all should have grown a spine and not play ANY games this season due to this pandemic. The fact that they are shows once and for all that their athletes are little more than unpaid gladiators.

At least the games in the NFL and NBA are tolerable. In those cases, the players are pros and get paid. The college kids don't.

15. I agree with you, but the players want to play, despite the risks, which is crazy.

They are looking for a NFL job when they graduate, making millions and they don't think it is fair to be benched for a whole year.

Ohio State just conducted some research and 30-40% of all their student athletes have permanent heart damage related to Covid.

I don't think they should have played, but if they are playing, I have to watch.

I saw that millionaire yelling about how it would be wrong to pay the college athletes a few years ago, and I've despised him thereafter.

Clemson's defensive coordinator, Venables, seems lost without the ability to steal the play-calling signs! The Ohio State sports writers have even been well-aware of it, so the Buckeyes coaching staff were obviously prepared for it too.
