Sports wouldn’t be the same without all the pieces that come together for it. The fans, arenas, coaches, and of course, the reporters and analysts who contribute significantly to the lore of the game. Personalities like Erin Andrews and Mike Golic breathe life into these competitive games as few others can. They make millions covering events like the Super Bowl or the NBA Finals, but it doesn’t come easy. How much do they earn in salary and who gets paid the most?

1. I question the validity of such lists

However, if accurate, here are my thoughts:

Jim Rome (at $30 million) and Terry Bradshaw (at $25 million) are vastly overpaid.

Charles Barkley (at $1.5 million) is a real bargain.

Personally, I love Kornheiser and Wilbon. They deserve their $6 million each.

2. Mike Golic is no longer making that kind of money.

His show was cancelled to give Mike Greenberg is own show (huge mistake in my opinion). Interesting that the women. In particular Holly Rowe, make so much less than the men. Not surprised that a male dominated business dies this, just hoped it had gotten better.

Lots of overpaid people on that list. Buck is God awful, I turn down the sound and go to radio coverage when he and Aiken are on.
