As a huge sports fan, I don't get the appeal of watching people talk about sports.

I can happily watch football games for 10 hours on Sundays and all of MNF and TNF, but the pregame shows? No thanks. Same for baseball. I'll watch any game, anytime, anywhere, but can't watch more than a minute of MLB Network.

And don't get me started on the shows that run on repeat on ESPN, where panels of sports "talking heads" argue with each other about this or that issue. I'd rather listen to someone scratching their nails on a blackboard on an endless loop than have to listen to 30 seconds of Stephen A. Smith's schtick.

Does anyone else see the appeal?

But other than that just like in politics the sports punditocracy rarely gets it right.

Commentary. I decided then to just mute it, but eventually found that didn’t work either with constant replays

I can take or leave Stephen A. Smith. He is no Stuart Scott. I like when Shannon Sharpe Goes off. Lol!

I sometimes watch Undisputed mostly to agree with Shannon Sharpe. It depends on the topics or people but I understand what you mean. Arizona teams rarely get national attention so there is another reason why I don’t like those shows that much.
