9-year-old girl pens letter to Baker Mayfield

I love this kid. The line about the dog or cat is great.

[The Cleveland Browns’’ Mayfield has been having a rough season and recently it was published in a Cleveland Plain Dealer article that he and his wife Emily have been receiving death threats]

LORAIN, Ohio — Baker Mayfield had a rough season this year, after getting injured in week two. A 9-year-old girl from Lorain wrote a letter to the quarterback just to make sure he's doing alright. That letter is now going viral.

“Dear Baker, my mom told me that people are being mean to you, and I feel bad for you. So I want to check in on you to see how you are doing," Brooklyn Schue wrote.

(snip)

“… me and my family think you're doing a great job and we really like you. Sorry, you are going through a rough time. I go through rough times too when my friends are mean to me," Brooklyn said.

I think he has the potential to be a Cousins level QB. That is what they need with that running game.

Since he is already paid for next year, I would say rewind it with Mayfield and Keenum.

I think they could have made the playoffs with Keenum. Mayfield is a better QB when healthy, but Keenum was the better choice over an injured Mayfield.
