Ice hockey teams play in respirator masks
In the Beijing Olympics, the women's ice hockey tournament continued on Tuesday with a number of games on the slate. But there was a bizarre scene at a match on Monday between Canada and the Russian Olympic Committee. Both teams played wearing respirator masks.
The Canadians initially refused to take the ice while they waited for the results of their opponents' COVID-19 tests.
But about an hour later, both teams started the game wearing the masks.
The ROC team was eventually told they had all tested negative, so they removed them for the third period.
