New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart made a surprise appearance Friday to introduce President Trump at an event to campaign for Rep. Mike Lawler (R-N.Y.).
Whats up, whats up, whats up. Look, Big Blue Nation its a pleasure to be here, Dart said to the crowd in Suffern, N.Y., as he introduced the president. What an honor, what a privilege it is to be here.
And without further ado, Im grateful, Im honored, Im pleasured to introduce the 45th and 47th president of the United States of America: President Donald J. Trump.
Trump whispered something in Darts ear and shook his hand before the second-year quarterback walked off the stage.

(308 posts)born in utah. went to ole miss. did any giants fan expect jaxton(wtf) to be normal? had he been born in a blue state and attended a university not still mourning the confederacys demise, darts actions may have been cause for depression, but given his background it should come as no surprise.

(308 posts)You cant hold WHERE someone was born against them as a prejudice thats silly. Should Democrats plain give up in red states because they are hopeless? Utah had Democrats as Senators from 1917 to 1941 and 1959 to 1977, so theres no reason to think they cant again . As long as we dont write them off & educate them to vote for their best interests.

Eli knows all about NYC and environs, and how touchy the public and fans out there can get.
As a Giants fan, I just hope #ETTD doesn't afflict Dart that badly. But he's got to help the team win games and stay relevant throughout the season.. That's all I want.

(3,587 posts)As a long time Big Blue fan I will still root for the laundry, albeit much less enthusiastically (if at all) for #6. Born in Utah and attending Ole Miss, I had no illusion that Mr Dart was a card carrying member of the ACLU nor do I think he is the only member of any of the sports franchises I follow who are supporters of pResident Grifty McP3do.
But again... FFS.
