These are the 22 most popular vehicles of 2019, according to J.D. Power

Porsche owners are the happiest with their new vehicles, while Mitsubishi owners are the least satisfied, according to a new survey on 2019 model-year vehicles.

J.D. Power on Wednesday released the results of the 24th annual Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) Study, which "measures owners’ emotional attachment and level of excitement with their new vehicle."

With nearly 68,000 vehicle owners or lessees sharing their opinions, the study found that Porsche is the most popular brand, and Mitsubishi was the least popular. The study does not adjust for total sales volume.

The top overall model was the Audi A7 premium midsize car.

Of the 20 vehicle segments tracked by J.D. Power, Ford had the top model in five categories. Winning their respective segments were the Ford F-150, Expedition, Ranger and Super Duty, and the Lincoln Navigator.

BMW prevailed in four segments with the 2-Series, X4, MINI Cooper and MINI Countryman. (See the full list below.)

The top five brands were Porsche, BMW, Genesis, Audi and Volvo.

A lot of people in recovery can't or don't want to drive, so these guys rehab bikes and give them away to people who need them. They also sponsor rides. I've passed out their announcements to anyone or anyplace that I thought might be interested - and they made the Albany news! This time of year it's also a much less stressful way of getting around since the traffic is awful with all the tourists.

I've heard of the Hyundai Genesis model, but never the brand.

What models do they make?

For some reason I thought Genesis was a high-end Hyundai model (when I read the article) but now I recall ... since you reminded me

Not that into cars lol ... though I do dig 50s/60s cars a bit ...

There seem to be a lot of car shows around here so I see quite a few older cars on the road. And not just '50s-'60s - last week I stopped at a Stop sign right behind a Model A!

I remember the NYT review of the car, the first year it came out. Reviewer raved about the car, comparing its features favorable, with Lexus and so forth.

Then, he ends with, "The only problem you are going to have, is explaining to your friends, why you paid $50,000 for a Hyundai."

I drive 50k miles per year and replace my cars every two or three years. I have owned 6 Hyundai vehicles. The last two were/are Sonata Ltd.s

That will also be my next car.

.... is that you can line up 10 different models, remove the badges, and most people cannot tell them apart. With few exceptions, automakers have abandoned innovative imagination of the 50s, 60s, and to a certain extent, the 70s. When I drive around town I cannot identify 75 to 80% of cars by make, and/or model at a glance.
