I think there were bored out 283 variants... 301 and 302 came along in the early '00s...first by performance shops then by GM itself.

the long sweeping rear window, that was stunning. It also had a 283, if I had that and our 57 Impala, I'd be a happy camper.

10. Okay, but you could argue that both the 67 and 68 had triple taillights, only the 67's were classy; the 68's were stupid

12. Actually, I stopped paying attention after that. The 57 through 67 Impala's were the bomb. Okay, maybe not the 61.
