Wants to trade in his car. High mileage. High interest rate. High insurance. 40 grand underwater. Wants another muscle car. Overusing it for cheap income. Don't want no Honda... Delusional...

Economic illiteracy is really showing here.
And his replacement isn't much better.
His beat bet is to take his $5k he says he has and buy a 15 year old Honda or Toyota and turn the keys into the lender. Then pray they won't drag him into court.
