(26,981 posts)but good commentators can provide additional insights and trivia that most viewers would not be aware of. If they're not abrasive personalities, I prefer watching games with commentary audible.

(40,116 posts)Duane Kuiper and Mike Krukow; theyve been playing tag team for decades and know and share the game on a whole bunch of levels. Jon Miller does radio, and he learned the game listening to Russ Hodges, just like me.
Wow, the Pirates tied up the game again 6-6, and its rolling into the twelfth inning!

What do you think of these "City Connect" uniforms? I'm generally not a fan. I wouldn't even have known it was the Nationals on the field with the Giants in those blue jerseys. Just pure revenue is what it's about, IMO.

(40,116 posts)I follow the box scores across the board, religiously, and noticed the White Sox and the Athletics were tied in the tenth. The Athletics won in the eleventh.
Im a dyed-in-the-wool SF Giants fan, but Ive been warming up the the Athletics since they moved to West Sacramento, but if I attended a game at Sutter Health Park, I would choose a River Cats game (Giants aaa farm team) over the Athletics.
