It can be so frustrating watching a pro baseball game on Japanese TV

So today (Sunday afternoon JST) I was watching the Tokyo Giants play the Yokohama Baystars on Channel 6. Tokyo was leading, 2-1 in the bottom of the 7th, but Yokohama had runners at 1st and 2nd, with 2 outs. Suddenly, Channel 6 cut to 10 minutes of commercials, and after that they had a program on dangerous animals. Apparently they had switched the baseball broadcast to a cable channel which I can't get. Other channels do that as well, but I can at least get the channel they switched the game to. Argh!

on local Saitama TV. The game went into extra innings, tied 2-2. At exactly 10:00, with Seibu trailing 3-2 in the bottom of the 11th, the channel suddenly switched to NHK 2 I was finally able to get back to Saitama TV and watch the Lions lose to the Fighters
