Jose Fernandez was drunk and had cocaine in his system when he wrecked his boat

No links, I'm on my phone, but it's breaking all over right now.

His BAC was nearly double the legal limit and cocaine was found in his system.

This is why I wear no one else's name on the back of a jersey.

I'm sorry for his pregnant fiancé, friends, teammates, and fans, but he was apparently another victim of his own sudden fame and ego.

I'm still a Marlins fan.

Plenty of poor nobodies use substances and wreck or other things like overdose. I think it's just one of those things with alcohol & drug addiction. Fame had little to with it imo.
