I've never seen a no-hitter live

(gave away tickets that ended up a no-hitter), I've never gotten a foul ball at a game, never attended a game where a cycle was hit, or a triple play was accomplished.

All things to look forward to.

Nolan Ryan comes to mind. I've been to games with a grand slam home run, a great comeback happened, and where the team I cheered for lost miserably. All great fun. ⚾

He was pitching for the Red Sox at the time, so the crowd was split between appreciating the moment and lamenting the Orioles loss.

I'm a Yankees fan, so I just enjoyed the moment.

4. I've seen a few balls hit over the Big Green Monster at Fenway Park

but never from inside the park. I was always on my bike on the way to the grocery down a back road behind the park. The crowd would go totally nuts and the kids waiting out in the street would put their gloves on and run to catch it. I always managed to dodge both the ball and the kids and make it to the grocery.

I'd be a nervous wreck. I would rather watch a recorded game knowing it's going to happen. Is that weird?

7. I saw Shelby Miller - in his rookie season

give up a broken bat single to the first batter he faced and...

Then retire 27 straight for the complete game shutout.

That was amazing - by the 5 inning people were hitting the bathrooms during the Cardinals half of the inning because they didn't want to miss Shelby pitching.

He was traded and he's hit a rough patch but I will always pull for him.

8. I saw a perfect game dashed in the bottom of the eight

Randy Johnson was pitching for Seattle against the Oakland A's (late eighties?). First time I ever saw the freaky tall pitcher do his stuff, and well, he was freaky tall, and he had some freaky wicked stuff! I didn't realized what was happening until the sixth inning. Then in the bottom of the eighth....

Still, a one-hit shutout was pretty cool. It was a boring game by most fan's expectations, but cool if you actually understood what was happening.

9. I saw Jordan Zimmerman's No Hitter in 2014 and one of Max Scherzer's in 2015.

My son decided to skip the Zimmerman game because we had playoff tickets so I tool my older Daughter and her best Friend. My son was not pleased, we did not rub it in.....Also saw Scherzer's 20 Strikeout Game vs. Jordan Zimmerman and the Tigers.......

I see a lot of ball games. I live within 90 minutes or less of the Washington Nationals, Baltimore Orioles, Bowie Baysox (AA), Frederick Keys (A), Hagerstown Suns (A), Aberdeen Ironbirds (A) and Potomac Nationals (A).

I love minor league ball.

I've seen a few guys hit for the cycle - one of them was Manny Machado at his last Minor League Game for the Bowie Baysox. We were in the front row behind Home. We had our youngest with us at the time and she was 5 and she was a little whiny that day. As Manny came up to bat, he caught her eye and winked and she stopped whining (for a while at least). Manny hit for the cycle and was called up by the Orioles the next day.
