In 1972 he became the first MLB pitcher to win 200 games without ever having won 20 games in one season. In 1972 he pitched for the Cubs.

1. I remember Milt.

He swore up and down he lost a perfect game because of a bad call by the ump.

He lost his wife tragically, too.

He had it in the bag. Two out in the ninth. Count on the batter 2-2. Just one more strike. Milt threw two sliders. Both missed, according to the ump.
