Well, damn. If I hadn't just splurged on

Jingle Ball tickets for the grandkids in December, hubby and I might have been able to go to a World Series game. I was checking out ticket prices at 6am and watched cheapest seats go up $100 as I browsed. I'm just not going to pay close to $2,000 (with fees) to sit where we can't see the ball anyway.

We'll see it better on TV.

Giants vs Royals in SF. We “bought” tickets through StubHub before the Giants clinched that were quite reasonable and booked the hotel. If the Giants hadn’t won the NLCS, the tickets from StubHub were refundable in full. Airline tix are a whole other thing however. For future reference of course.

We can just take the subway to Fenway. We've been to a couple of games this year. I like the idea of buying tickets the way you did.
