Tom Seaver, the greatest of all Mets who dropped out of public life in March of 2019 after being diagnosed with dementia died early Monday. Accoring to family sources, Seaver, 75, died peacefully at his home in Calistoga, Calif., from complications from Lyme disease and dementia.'>>>

And a very smart human.

Probably the most dominant pitcher I ever saw; 25-7 in 1969, including a near perfect game against the Cubs, who had Santo, Banks and Billy Williams in their lineup. Jimmy Qualls! I also saw him win his 300th game in NY against my team, the Yankees.

Thanks for the memories, Tom. RIP.
