Is anyone watching the Yankees-Tampa Bay game?

Why did Boone take Garcia out after only 1 inning? He only gave up the one run.

One of the announcers say that with pitching Boone had “played possum,” which I interpret (naively) to mean that it was a strategic trick?

Looking forward to wiser & better informed posters to school us on this?

TB sent out a Left handed line up to face Garcia. 2nd inning bring in LHP,
TB stuck with lefties facing lefty pitcher.
