Immaculate Inning-Interesting

9 pitches. 9 strikes. 3 strikeouts. End of inning.

94 pitchers have achieved it.

7 pitchers more than once.

Nolan Ryan was the first to do it in both leagues.

Koufax did it three times (only one I think).

Danny Jackson is the only pitcher to have done this in the World Series. 1985 pitching for KC versus STL Cardinals. Game 5.

One pitch that doesn’t count as a strike, even a third pitch foul, and it’s over.

I still think that unassisted triple play I saw on tv was cool. They have to happen fast and nobody in attendance or in the both was sure what happened at first!

I was like WTF?
