Especially teams that have had long playoff droughts. The party in San Francisco's locker room after they clinched the NL West on the last day of the 2010 season was I-N-S-A-N-E.

Why begrudge long-suffering teams their joy? They've had so little of it for too long.

Cleveland whiffed on a lot of pitches outside of the strike zone that they would have taken during the regular season. I expect Francona will have a lot of sliders and curves thrown at batting practice, because that's all they'll see in the Bronx.

Season record vs the Yankees:

1 win, 5 losses.

Yankees outscored Cleveland 38 runs to 14. Guardians' lone victory was a 2-0 shutout.
