Great Egret with Nesting Branch

1. Bird's engineering skills surprise me often,

saw one of 'my' osprey carrying a stick to 'owl box' to revamp new nest there in light of recent heavy wind.

2. That box needs a guard rail edge added or some vertical slats nailed around the top

to help keep the branches from falling off.

3. Needs lots of things, but I don't tell the owner/landlord to spend more $ on this place;

I occasionally suggest.

He comes up with ideas, but often forgets.
