1. I love it, hummingbirds are all about timing with their aerobatics

That sapsucker is a really cool looking bird too. We have yellow-bellied sapsuckers, they make little holes in a straight line around the circumference of a tree trunk

2. The Hummingbirds have a good relationship with the Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers too :)

I have seen Downy Woodpeckers and even larger Woodpeckers sip at Hummingbird feeders in April. I have one feeder with much larger openings.

3. It looks like my hummingbirds had a successful nesting season here. I will miss them when they go

4. There was much more activity here too. The males are still here and feasting on insects ...

It was nice to see one male peacefully sharing a feeder with a female, both sneaking peeks at each other
