1. I love it, hummingbirds are all about timing with their aerobatics

That sapsucker is a really cool looking bird too. We have yellow-bellied sapsuckers, they make little holes in a straight line around the circumference of a tree trunk

2. The Hummingbirds have a good relationship with the Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers too :)

I have seen Downy Woodpeckers and even larger Woodpeckers sip at Hummingbird feeders in April. I have one feeder with much larger openings.
