I have gold finches that are yellow in the spring. They don’t eat bugs I don’t think and they don’t look like this

So many of these little ones are tough. We call them "LBJs" - Little Brown Jobs.

David Allen Sibley's bird guide identifies it as a first winter female Yellow Rumped Warbler.

I have these at my feeders all winter. They enjoy the meal worms and the suet. Know that winter is on its way when they arrive in the late fall. They will be heading out very soon and the hummingbirds will be here!
