Plovers in Cape Canaveral, Florida
There have been reports of an unusually large concentration of plovers in Cape Canaveral, including a Snowy Plover, which is almost never seen on the East Coast (There are some on the Gulf Coast of Florida.) Allegedly there was one found fifty years ago here in Brevard County.
So today I visited Jetty Park in Cape Canaveral to see them:

The numbers were down from yesterday, but fortunately the Snowy Plover was still present, along with some other plovers:
