1. I went kayaking over the Memorial Day Weekend.

I got to see an Osprey dive into the lake about 50 yards in front of me and come up with a fish. Less than an hour later I saw what was probably the same Osprey go by with another fish. My brother has a house on Little Lake Harris in Astatula, FL. There are tons of Ospreys all around the area. They are beautiful birds. I wished I had my phone with me when I saw it, but then again, my phone would probably have ended up at the bottom of the lake!

2. Great you saw and see often!

They're no longer here so frequently, and not on the nest since geese took it over.

4. The place is like a nature preserve.

I told my brother to get a trail cam. I could see all the paths crossing his property. I thought it would only be raccoons and opossums, but he caught a bobcat on the cam. It looked like a young one too.

6. I did manage to get a photo of an Anhinga drying its wings on the dock.

There's a seaplane in the background too.
