This is a Montezuma Oropendola eating papaya at my feeder this morning. They produce a wonderful gurgling bubbly sound.

It must be like entering a new world or different planet with all the different flora and fauna. I know it's really colorful.
Do you have those giant frogs?

(10,062 posts)4. quetzals live in higher altitudes than toucans or oropendolas....
...they have them in Monteverde. I see them frequently along el cerro de la muerte, in places like san Gerardo de dota.
