Seen at the in-laws yesterday...

They live in the woods on a small river in Michigan and have numerous feeders. In less than 24 hours I saw at least one of each of these fine specimens, and many of most of them:

White breasted nuthatch
Tufted titmouse
Cardinal
Blue Jay
Goldfinch
Purplefinch
Baltimore oriole
Rose breasted grosbeak
Downy woodpecker
Hairy woodpecker
Yellow bellied woodpecker
Mallard
Canada goose
Black capped chickadee
Red winged blackbird
Wood duck
Robin
Mourning dove

There are others, I just didn't see them this visit. Squirrels and chipmunks, rabbit and raccoons. Dog Loblaw loves it too.

I had to have a big maple tree cut down in my backyard. It obviously really opened my yard. I have two bird baths and a bunch of native plants. I love sitting on my deck and watching all the birds. Unfortunately, I don't have quite the list you got to see at your in-laws.

Peace
