without breaks? I assume your video was unaltered.

My husband does a lot if birding. I used to, but not so much since moving to GA a few tears ago. We did spot a lovely blue indigo last week!

I know I hear them and here is a documented sighting (being nocturnal that is fairly rare):

Eastern Whip-poor-will
Chico Basin Ranch, Pueblo Co.

I remember them vividly from youth so being a very early riser, I knew the sound. Of course, they are at risk from the red-tailed hawks, Great Horned Owls, and Falcons out here, but they persist, it seems.

I live out in the country pretty much but never have heard them. I hear them when I go to Maryland sometimes.
