(31,257 posts)I had one steal a mackerel off the end of my fishing line on the beach after I landed it. Thank goodness the hook pulled out, the bird was welcome to it after its talons were in it.

(2,012 posts)in Colorado in their nests feeding their babies in the high nests we put up for them. And once in a while flying.
There's a nest adjacent to my house, southern MD, made by 'my' old couple many years ago; looking forward to them feeding their babies, and then teaching the kids to fly!
