(15,283 posts)The swamp has pools where migrating ducks rest for the night and then continue their journey in the morning.
Flocks of ducks would fly in and land in the water. Then the evening would be filled with the sound of "quacking" ducks.
HOPING I'll see and hear ducks and geese at home.

(7,162 posts)and one October, I was driving north when the sky was full of flocks of geese that were flying south. As I passed an industrial office park, V-formation after V-formation was coming in for a landing at a pond outside of one of the office buildings. I felt like I was driving by and under the OHare Airport for birds!
